Terms
Armanac LLC ("Armanac," "we," "us") operates Postdate. These Terms form an agreement between you and Armanac LLC.
Your browser encrypts your text and files before upload. You share a link that opens at the time you choose. By using Postdate, you agree to these terms.
Prohibited content
Do not upload content that is illegal to possess or distribute. This includes child sexual abuse material, malware, and other malicious code. It also includes stolen credentials, stolen data, and content that infringes others' rights. Do not use Postdate to harass, defraud, or threaten anyone. Do not try to bypass our limits on requests or our moderation.
Removal
We may block access to any message link or permanently remove it at any time. Reasons include abuse reports, legal requirements, or our own discretion. Blocking access for review does not delete the Postdate. Permanent removal deletes its encrypted content and key from Postdate. We cannot recover them. Copies people already opened or saved remain.
Timelock
Timelock encrypts the key for a future release from drand, a public network that publishes random numbers. You get no delete link. You cannot delete a Timelock message yourself. Early access through the link is prevented by encryption, assuming drand and the encryption remain secure. The sender can still keep the original content or key. We can still remove it for abuse or legal reasons by deleting the encrypted content. Opening depends on that public network staying available. Future quantum computers could break this encryption. See how Timelock works.
When your Postdate expires
Every message link expires. We stop giving access to the content at that time. Scheduled cleanup removes expired keys. Cleanup can take longer during delays or outages. You can no longer open the message through Postdate. Copies people already opened or saved remain. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Postdate controls when a message opens. It is not a backup service.
Warranty and liability
Postdate is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage from your use of Postdate. This includes lost content, missed opening times, downtime, and actions we take under these terms. Paid time-locked messages are one-time purchases with the stated opening date and size limits. If we remove one for a terms violation, we do not owe a refund.
Report abuse through the report link on any message page or email abuse@postdate.io.
