Timelock. Forwarding the link does not change its opening time. Timelock requires the scheduled drand release to open. Check that you are allowed to publish the material; an NDA end date alone does not establish that.

Timelock costs $3 USD per Postdate. This covers opening dates within one year and 100 MB including encryption and file packaging. Opening depends on drand and Postdate being available, and on the encryption remaining secure. Senders can keep original copies. Postdates can still expire or be removed for abuse. Send it before it opens

If your NDA ends in nine months, you may forget details by then. Waiting to write could mean never finishing the piece.

Write the piece while you remember the details. Set it to open when the NDA ends. Share the link where you want the piece to appear. Anyone with the link can read it at the opening time.

   Set the opening time to when the NDA ends.

   Choose Timelock to protect the link until its scheduled opening.

   Publish the link wherever the piece should appear.

Common questions

What if the confidentiality period is extended?

You cannot postpone a Timelock message. Choose Standard if the NDA end date might change. You can delete it before opening and send a new link.

Can I edit the piece after creating the link?

No. Creating the message fixes its content. Finish writing before you create the link.

Does a Timelock cover several years?

No. You can choose an opening date up to one year away. You cannot extend it. Keep your own copy until the NDA end date is within a year.
