Share your gender reveal with one link

Updated

Write boy or girl and add a photo if you like. Share the link with your family before the party. It opens for everyone at the time you choose.

Postdate shares a message and files through one link that opens at the time you choose. With Basic, Postdate holds the key until then; with Timelock, the key needs a scheduled drand release.

Make a gender reveal link Basic: free within 7 days and 1 MB after encryption. $3 up to 1 year and 100 MB after encryption.

Send it before it opens

Family who can’t come to the party can open the same link. You can share it in the group chat without giving away boy or girl early.

Choose a time for the reveal, such as Saturday at 5 PM. Share the link a few days before the party. Until then, everyone sees a countdown.

What people see

Everyone sees It’s a girl and the announcement card. The message and attachment are examples.

Before it opens, your family sees a countdown. They can add a calendar event and copy the link. They also see any public teaser you wrote. The message stays encrypted until the opening time. It opens in the browser at the time you chose. A celebration plays if you added one. The link expires after your chosen availability period, counted from the opening time.

Adding a calendar event downloads a file to import into your calendar. Set any reminder there. Postdate does not send opening notifications.

Choose a lock

Basic. Basic gives you a private delete link. Save it in case your plans change. You can use it to delete the message before it opens.
