Standard. You may grant an extension or postpone a deadline after a submission system fails. Standard gives you a private delete link. Use it to delete the solutions before they open if the deadline changes.

Standard is free for messages that open within 7 days and are 1 MB or less. Later dates or larger uploads cost $3 USD, up to one year and 100 MB including encryption and file packaging. Postdate holds the key and promises not to read your content before opening. You get a private delete link that works until your Postdate expires. Compare the locks.

Send it before it opens

A week after the deadline, students may have moved on. Sharing solutions with the assignment lets students read the answers before trying. Posting solutions yourself may mean staying up until midnight.

Set the solutions to open at the deadline in your syllabus. Students get feedback while they still remember the problem. You do not need to be awake.

Common questions

What happens if I grant an extension?

Use your private delete link to delete the message before it opens. This deletes the key, so the old link cannot open the solutions. Create a new message for the later date.

Can students tell how long the solutions have existed?

They can see when you created the message. They cannot read the solutions before the opening time.

Can I attach a file instead of typing the solutions?

Yes. You can attach a PDF or notebook file. Standard is free for messages that open within 7 days and are 1 MB or less. A later deadline or a bigger file costs $3. That covers up to 100 MB.
